I am una sofía.

But why not just “sofía”?

To me, being is always in motion. I am “una” today, and tomorrow I will be someone else.

I was born and raised in Medellín, Colombia, but in 2020, I changed my life and moved to São Paulo, Brazil. I am a singer, songwriter, and filmmaker, pursuing my dream of making a living through music. 

I’ve performed at incredible venues around the city, including Casa Rockambole, Teatro da Rotina, and Sala Crisantempo. I released my first original six-track EP, canção para o caminho, about displacement and belonging, with songs in spanish and portuguese. I often find myself reflecting on the volatile cycles of losing and finding myself, again and again, and I try to understand this shifting through songwriting. Oh! And I wrote and directed my own music videos to expand the universe of my songs. Go take a look :)
